Marks, warmth and why cupping is offered as a standalone 45-minute treatment with Kyla Phillips at Health at Hart.

Cupping uses cups to create a local vacuum on the skin, often over the back. People use it for muscular tightness and as part of a Chinese medicine treatment plan. You may bruise. Those circular marks fade. I will warn you before we start if you have an event or a photoshoot.
Broken skin, certain blood conditions, pregnancy in some presentations, and over fragile tissue. Tell me about blood thinners. Cupping is £50 for 45 minutes as a separate session, or it may sit inside an acupuncture treatment when it fits the case.
Keep the area warm, drink water, and avoid a freezing plunge in the lake the same afternoon. If marks worry you, send a photo — most look dramatic and mean very little clinically after a few days.
