Osteopathy

Cycling and back pain

Saddle, reach and a flexed spine for hours — osteopathy for cyclists in north Hampshire.

Symptoms and what they can mean

Aches that bloom after a long Saturday ride, hands that tingle, a neck that hates looking up the road. Fit and training load both matter.

What we can do in clinic

I treat the thorax and hips that have been locked in one shape. A bike-fit professional is worth it if you ride seriously. I will not pretend a manipulation replaces a saddle that is too high.

Red flags and when to see your GP

Saddle sores with infection, or hand numbness that does not ease, needs a proper look — GP or a specialist cycling physio.
