Counselling

Sleep that will not come, or sleep that will not stop. A flattened week. Work that still happens on the outside. Friends who have stopped asking because you always say you are fine.
Integrative counselling gives the low mood a room that is not your kitchen. We look at what maintains it — loss, criticism, a body that is exhausted — without turning you into a diagnosis on a leaflet. Sessions are 50 minutes. I work with adults 18+.
If you cannot keep yourself safe, or you have a plan to end your life, that is 999, NHS 111, or the Samaritans — not a counselling diary slot. Medication decisions stay with your GP. I will not tell you to stop a tablet.
This article is general information for people considering care at Health at Hart in Hartley Wintney. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription, or a promise of outcome. If you have sudden, severe or unexplained symptoms — including chest pain, unexplained weight loss, night pain, bowel or bladder changes, or a new neurological problem — seek urgent medical advice (NHS 111 or 999). UK osteopaths are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council. Counsellors named here are BACP-registered where stated. Always check with your GP or insurer if you are unsure whether a treatment is appropriate for you.
