Osteopathy

Jaw clenching at night

Bruxism, morning headaches and the neck — osteopathy as an adjunct to dental care, not a replacement.

A person holding a tired jaw

Symptoms and what they can mean

A tired masseter, a partner who hears grinding, temple pain before coffee. Stress and screens lengthen the day into the night.

What we can do in clinic

I treat neck and jaw muscles and talk about wind-down. A night guard is a dentist’s tool. Counselling helps if the clench is the only way the day ends.

Red flags and when to see your GP

A cracked tooth, an abscess, or a jaw that will not open — dental or A&E, not a waiting list for osteopathy.
