Symptoms and what they can mean

Turning in bed hurts many mechanical backs. Pain that wakes you every night, is worse lying flat, or comes with sweats and weight loss is a different list.

What we can do in clinic

I ask about pillows, sleeping position and whether you are simply not moving all day. Treatment plus sleep-position advice helps many. I will not soothe away a systemic history.

Red flags and when to see your GP

Unrelenting night pain with constitutional symptoms — GP promptly. Do not wait for a “course of osteopathy” to finish.
