Counselling

Online counselling on Teams

A real session, not a lesser one — Jamie Blackall on when video work is the right door.

What this can look like

A diary that will not reach Hartley Wintney. Illness. Caring duties. Social anxiety that makes the waiting room a mountain. A preference for your own kitchen.

How counselling can help

Online work is still confidential work if you can get a private room and a stable connection. I will talk about what to do if the call drops, and what is not safe to do on a laptop in a café. In-person remains available.

When it is more than counselling

If you are in crisis, a video hour is not 999. We agree how you would get emergency help from your location.

This article is general information for people considering care at Health at Hart in Hartley Wintney. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription, or a promise of outcome. If you have sudden, severe or unexplained symptoms — including chest pain, unexplained weight loss, night pain, bowel or bladder changes, or a new neurological problem — seek urgent medical advice (NHS 111 or 999). UK osteopaths are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council. Counsellors named here are BACP-registered where stated. Always check with your GP or insurer if you are unsure whether a treatment is appropriate for you.
