When a scar is tight, stuck or simply new — honest physiotherapy, not miracle scraping.

A pulling sensation, reduced slide of the skin, or fear of touching the area. Early scars are delicate. Old scars can still limit a joint.
Once the wound is closed and your team agrees, gentle mobilisation of surrounding tissue and restoring movement. I do not “break scar tissue” as a slogan. Hypertrophic or infected scars need medical review.
Red, hot, discharging wounds — GP or surgical team, not massage.
