A niggle at the front of the shoulder that appears at a certain length. Technique and thoracic rotation are frequent partners. The pool’s virtue is not automatic.

What we can do in clinic

I treat neck, thorax and the shoulder girdle. Reducing volume for a fortnight is treatment. Deborah can then load the cuff properly.

Red flags and when to see your GP

A shoulder that will not lift after a trip on the tiles needs imaging via a proper route, not more lengths.
