Pain that arrives with the bleed, backache, a day off work. Some of this is common. Pain that is new, one-sided and severe, or happens with fainting, is not “just periods”.
We time sessions to your cycle where we can. Points and adjuncts like moxibustion depend on the pattern. I will not tell you to throw away prescribed contraception or HRT.
Sudden severe pelvic pain, pregnancy possibility, or bleeding that soaks through hourly — medical or A&E.
